Nearly There!

We are very nearly at our target of 500 patients, having had an enormous recruitment drive and opened the final two sites through February. With a little under a month still to run, we currently only need another 60 or so patients having lap choles - that's under the minimum commitment of 10.5/month for each site!

We have started the data validation process to assess the quality of the data collection, which has meant that more collaborators are coming on-board. It's really heartening to see how many people are willing to engage with this research, and we hope that it will demonstrate just how powerful this approach to data collection can be.

We have also started contacting surgeons for the interview study, if you are a surgeon with an opinion on selective histological analysis of gallbladders, or know of any then please do get in touch - we would love to hear from you.
