We’re pleased to share that the protocol for our diagnostic modelling study on incidental gallbladder cancer has now been published in the Journal of Surgical Protocols and Research Methodology.

This study aims to develop a risk stratification tool to help prioritise histological assessment of gallbladder specimens following routine cholecystectomy. By identifying patients at higher risk of incidental gallbladder cancer, we hope to support more efficient use of pathology resources and ensure timely recognition of this rare but serious diagnosis.

You can read the full protocol here, or see the abstract in the Study Outputs section of the menu.
